Historical field trips take scholars to Washington, D.C.

Seventh and eighth grade students from Harriet Tubman and Paul Habans went outside the classroom to expand their education through visits to Washington, D.C. The trip to the nation’s capital included field visits to the Frederick Douglass House, Washington Monument, Martin Luther King Memorial, Holocaust Museum, the Air and Space Museum, the brand new National Museum of African American History and Culture, and many more historic sites.
