LAKEISHA GREEN is a native New Orleanian who graduated from Warren Easton High School, the Donaldson Educational Services Real Estate School in Metairie, and Xavier University of Louisiana. She is currently a Medicaid Analyst for the Louisiana Department of Health where she helps individuals access health care through various Medicaid and Medicare programs. Ms. Green was also a member of Governor John Bel Edwards’s Medicaid Expansion Committee. In that capacity she planned community outreach events, managed social media campaigns, and gave presentations to spread awareness of the Governor’s Medicaid expansion. Ms. Green is the proud parent of a student at Paul Habans Charter School.
