LAKEISHA GREEN is a New Orleans Native who received her Bachelor’s degree from Xavier University of Louisiana in Political Science and Business Entrepreneurship. She is a New Orleans Public School graduate of Warren Easton High School.

She is currently the program monitor for the Adolescent School Health Program residing under the Office of Public Health-Family Health Bureau. She has worked as an analyst for the Louisiana Department of Health and Louisiana Children’s Medical Center (LCMC), where she has helped adults and children in Louisiana access health care through various Medicaid and Medicare programs. Ms. Green was also a member of Governor John Bel Edwards’s Medicaid Expansion Committee. During her leadership roles she has examined adolescent medical & mental health outcomes, monitored school based health centers clinical operations, participated in project development & community outreach events, and has given presentations throughout the region to spread awareness of the Medicaid expansion program. Ms. Green is also a proud parent of a previous Crescent City schools student.
