Director of Special Education, Constellations Program
Joined the Team in 2025
Kalen Grant is the Director of Special Education at Constellations. She holds a Bachelor’s of Music Education from Florida State University. She has earned certifications in Early Intervention (Special Education from birth to age 5), Elementary Grades 1-5, Middle School – English Language Arts Grades 4-8, Instrumental Music and Vocal Music. Additionally, she will earn a Master’s of Education from Tulane University in December 2025.
Kalen has been an educator for over 20 years, teaching band, chorus, early intervention, and reading. She has taught in both Florida as well as in the Greater New Orleans Area. As a New Orleans native, Kalen is a graduate of Eleanor McMain Secondary High School and the New Orleans Center of the Creative Arts.
