Mary Ellen moved to Massachusetts to work on her Master’s Degree in Special Education. While in Boston, she served as the Special Education and Section 504 Coordinator at the Community Charter School of Cambridge. Once her graduated program ended she moved back to her found family and home, New Orleans, where she was as the Director of Scholar Support at Laureate Academy Charter.

Mary Ellen is excited to join the Crescent City Schools Team and hopes that she can make a positive impact on the lives of children with disabilities.
