On May 3rd, more than 320 donors raised $25,156 for Crescent City Schools on GiveNOLA Day, a regional day of online giving organized by the Greater New Orleans Foundation. These funds donated on GiveNOLA Day go directly to the four campuses in the CCS network: Harriet Tubman Charter School, Tubman Montessori, Akili Academy, and Paul Habans Charter School, as well as the Aurora Program, which supports students from across the CCS network, as well as students from schools outside of the CCS network. The schools will use the funds raised on GiveNOLA Day for various purposes, from purchasing new band uniforms to buying new playground equipment for students.
